Sunday Worship: The Feast of St. Francis and the Blessing of the Animals @ St. John the Divine

Join us for a joyful celebration of the world's rich diversity! Lest we forget, we are not the only animal inhabitants of this world, and God is present throughout creation.

We will meet up at 9:45am and plan on sitting together. We need tickets to get in, so RSVP with Chaplain Ryan to have one reserved for you.

Conversation this week: Prayer

This week: What is prayer? How should we do it?

We are gathering this semester to talk about interesting questions of faith—existential questions, too, which is to say things we care about. Also, we mostly share and listen and sometimes laugh, which is the Episcopal way.

This series of conversations is also preparation for baptism and confirmation when the Bishop comes November 11—please let Ryan know if that’s of interest to you.

First Worship of the Semester

Welcome! Whether it's your first time visiting the Episcopal community here, or you've come faithfully for years, we are glad that you're coming. We will celebrate a Eucharist with music, prayer, and song at St. Paul's on Columbia's campus, followed by a welcome back dinner at a nearby restaurant.

The Episcopal Church at Columbia+Barnard welcomes you regardless of prior religious connection (or no connection), or any other part of your identity. LGBTQ or straight, US citizen or from overseas, Barnard or Columbia.

Join us for contemplative practice, conversation with and about God, and non-competitive friendships. We will celebrate a Eucharist with music, prayers, and conversation at St. Paul's on Columbia's campus.
