Spring Break Pilgrimage to Washington DC 2017

We pray for our nation and its leaders. Let us put our words into action.  Join us as we follow our Christian mandate to advocate for justice and speak up for the voiceless.

Join Canterbury Downtown and The Vine NYC as we travel to our nation’s capitol to speak with our elected officials about the issues that matter most.  We will also visit important sites related to faith and justice, share meals and worship together, build community, have fun AND make a difference.

Thursday, March 9 – Monday, March 13, 2017

  • Friday, Advocacy training and preparation for visit to Capitol Hill.
  • Saturday, Sightseeing individually or as groups. Community dinner.
  • Sunday, Worship at the Nat’l Cathedral, reflection & spiritual practice
  • Monday, Capitol Hill, meet with policy makers and elected officials.

Cost $50* per person

Includes: housing, van transportation to and from DC, breakfast, lunch and snacks.

What to bring: bedding and towels, pillow, snacks,  journal, Spending money for local transportation,  dinners (except for Saturday night), entry fees for attractions that you choose to attend on your own.  *Scholarships available
