ESC Highlight: Jubilee Consortium

Jubilee Consortium’s Episcopal Urban Intern Program is now interviewing for our August 2013 – July 2014 cohort of volunteer interns interested in committing their lives to a year of service. If you are between the ages of 21 – 29 (as of August 5, 2013), have graduated with a bachelors degree, would like to spend a year focused on personal spiritual growth and service in communities of need you may be interested in knowing more about the Episcopal Service Corps (you do not need to be Episcopalian).

 Apply for the Lilly Summer Discernment Institute:Lilly Summer Discernment

The Lilly Summer Discernment Institute has announced the opening of applications for the 2013 program. There are spaces for 12 undergraduate students (including graduating seniors).

Students are invited “to apply for work exploring ordained ministry and service to the Church. The intention is to enable students to make connections between their lives of learning, the working world and their deepest aspirations.”

Be a summertime monk? Summer Program at

St. Gregory’s Abbey

If you are male, age 18 to 50, and if you can spend at least two weeks at the abbey during July.  Apply to spend two weeks or more at St. Gregory’s Abbey, a Benedictine monastery of the Episcopal Church at Three Rivers Michigan.  The only cost is $25 for registration.
