Canterbury Downtown

Last word on this semester!

Friends,

It has been a great year with Canterbury Downtown.  New faces and old friends have gathered for a variety of events and offerings throughout the year: Eucharists, dinners, Night Prayers, ESC BBQ, Advent Wreath-making, Dodgeball Tournament and our last Sunday Southern Cookin’ Feast, just to name a few!

As summer calls us to new and different places, students scatter, but God goes with you, and this community awaits your return!  Please feel free to send updates and pictures of your summer adventures, and if you are working in the New York area over the summer, feel free to connect with Chaplain Mary Cat on Sundays at Grace, Wednesdays at NYU, or by appointment throughout the week.

The fall will bring some exciting changes and leadership opportunities as Chaplain Mary Cat will be taking a maternity leave (expected to begin at the end of September), and a Chaplain’s assistant will be in place to keep the community connected.  In the meantime, give yourself opportunities to rest, refresh and rejuvenate!  See you on the Square in August/September!
