CanterburyNYC is a gathering of faith communities of the Episcopal Church focused on higher education throughout New York City. We connect the spiritual dimension of college and university life with its other intellectual, physical, and vocational dimensions. Through worship, outreach, social gatherings, formal and informal conversations, and a generous amount of tea and coffee, we support each other in our lives, engaging life and God with wonder and a sense of humor.
Uptown
Canterbury Uptown a community of students, faculty, and staff who gather Uptown and draw from all of Uptown, Harlem, and the Bronx, including from higher education institutions like Columbia, Barnard, Fordham, Manhattan College, City College, Manhattan School of Music, and more.
Downtown
Canterbury Downtown is a community of students from any and all downtown NYC academic institutions including: New York University, The Fashion Institute of Technology, The New School, Cooper Union, Hunter College, Pace University and more.
